Low Power Consumption
Using an internal accelerometer, the device can determine if the vehicle is moving or if the engine is running. This allows the device to conserve battery power by going into stand-by mode. If for any reason the device does not get power, it is equipped with an internal battery to provide hours of service. The device also alerts the user when the car battery is low via email or text message.
